6 Must-Buy Drugstore Products
You don’t always inherit great skin. It is a matter of some great habits – with respect to what you eat, wear and live. When it comes to caring for your skin, it is very personal. But, it is always a good idea to seek advice, or/and read before you draw up your own skincare regimen.
I love studying the active ingredients in skincare products. I have collated a list of my favorite over-the-counter products that cater to nearly all aspects of skincare. All of them are now easily available in India.

This one is for keeps. I use this oil during winters – sometimes, by mixing it with a moisturiser, or applying directly all over the face and neck. This amazing mist is my favorite essential. It has skin-soothing minerals and natural antioxidants. You can use it at any time of the day to refresh and rehydrate your skin.

Here’s another one from the Avène skincare range. It is a nighttime treatment that is lightweight and fast absorbing too. Its ingredients – soothing thermal spring water, hyaluronic acid, dextran sulphate and retinaldehyde help reduce puffiness, fade dark circles, soothe and firm the delicate under eye skin.
• A-DERMA SOOTHING FOAMING GEL
This soap-free foaming gel is extremely mild and gentle. It’s paraben-free and is suitable for all skin types. The key ingredient, Rhealba oats has soothing properties. This one doesn’t leave you with a dry stretchy feeling after washing your face.
